Neighborhood parks throughout Minneapolis feature gardens and related programs designed for, with and by youth. From clubs to classes to themed gardens like Whittier Park’s salsa garden, activities for youth of all ages and abilities center on planting, maintaining, harvesting, preparing and sharing produce, herbs and flowers.

General Youth Gardens 

Bryant Square, Central Gym, Creekview, Fuller, Hiawatha School, Linden Hills, Luxton, Morris, Pershing*, Stewart, and Whittier parks all have youth gardens for general participation can participate in gardening and related programs

Armatage, Bryant Square, Matthews and Sibley parks: [primarily for?] youth enrolled in Rec Plus School-Age Childcare are caring for gardens in those parks and enjoying cooking and other activities with the produce they grow.

Fuller & Pershing are both rec & stew? – what is a stewardship garden?

stewardship and donation gardens: Lake Nokomis, McRae, Phillips, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, East Phillips and Phelps parks
