City of Minneapolis project closes two blocks of parkway to through traffic for two months
A City of Minneapolis stormwater management project taking place near the intersection of West Minneahaha Parkway and Lyndale Avenue will close eastbound parkway traffic (south of the creek) for two blocks, between Lyndale and Harriet Avenues, beginning Friday, Feb. 9, 2018. The closure is expected to last about two months and local access will still be available for area residents.
Please follow onsite detour signage and respect closures necessary for worker and public safety by staying away from areas where construction is taking place. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience while this critical stormwater management and flood prevention project is completed.
