Pump station replacement begins next week at Lyndale Farmstead Park

Next week a contractor hired by the City of Minneapolis will begin replacing a pump station at Lyndale Farmstead Park. Work will be primarily focused in the lower storm pond near King’s Highway, adjacent to the dog park. The project will extend into the winter, with restoration work planned in spring 2017.

The dog park and pathways through the park are expected to remain open. Please stay away from areas where construction is taking place. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience while this critical stormwater management and flood prevention project is completed.
