Posted on 11 October, 2019Thanks for your interest in the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s (MPRB) Cedar-Riverside Recreation Centers Predesign project. The following updates include several engagement opportunities; we hope to hear from you at one or more of these events.

Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Meeting #2
The agenda for this September 17 meeting, as well as presentation and meeting notes, are all now available on the project website.
Tuesday, October 15: Engage with the project team
The project team holds informal “office hours” at Coyle Community Center as an opportunity for Cedar-Riverside residents and the public to engage with them outside formal CAC meetings.
Date and time: Tuesday October 15, 3 pm to 4:30 pm
Place: Coyle Community Center
October 25 and 29: Focus groups for youth
Anyone between the ages of 12 and 24 years* is invited to share thoughts, ideas, concerns and more at youth focus group sessions facilitated by the Minneapolis Youth Congress Board.
Sessions run from 5 to 7 pm and dinner will be served; attend either or both sessions:
Dates and times: Friday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 29, 5 to 7 pm
Place: Coyle Community Center
* Adults may attend but will not participate in the focus group.
Tuesday, November 19: CAC Meeting #3 – all are welcome
Times and Topics:
5 pm: Short-term recreation programming
5:30 pm to 8 pm: CAC for Cedar-Riverside Recreation Centers Predesign project
Place: Coyle Community Center, 420 15th Ave. S., Minneapolis
All ages are welcome; children’s activities and a light dinner are provided.
