Northbound lane of King’s Highway will be closed April 12Posted on 4 April, 2017
The northbound lane of King’s Highway running along the west side of Lyndale Farmstead Park will be closed Wednesday, April 12, 2017. The City of Minneapolis is close to completing a stormwater management project at Lyndale Farmstead Park and this one-day closure is needed for workers to remove piping from the area.
The Dog Park will be open while this one day closure occurs, but it will not be accessible from the eastern sidewalk coming from the south. Those wishing to access the Dog Park will need to use one of the other routes to the Dog Park during the closure.
Access to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Southside Operations Center and Lyndale Farmstead Recreation Center will be maintained. Traffic will be detoured around Lyndale Farmstead Park. See the map below for a detailed view of the detour.
