East Calhoun Parkway scheduled to reopen May 8Posted on 3 May, 2019
Resurfacing project scheduled to wrap up next Tuesday, May 7 and parkway will reopen by May 8
East Calhoun Parkway is scheduled to reopen May 8 following a roadway resurfacing project. The project covered the entire parkway, between Lake Street and West 36th Street. The Bde Maka Ska boat launch will remain closed until work on the parkway is finished.
Work began April 11 and was initially scheduled to wrap up May 3, but completion was delayed due to bad weather in April.
Please follow the posted detours and stay away from areas where work is being performed. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience during this project.
