Racial Equity Subcommittee Kickoff Meeting
This meeting was held on May 17, 2016.

The RecQuest Racial Equity Subcommittee kicked off on May 17 at MPRB Headquarters from 6-7:30pm with representation from the RecQuest Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and the public. Guest speakers from the Calhoun-Harriet Master Plan Equity Subcommittee spoke to share their experiences and successes. The RecQuest CAC voted unanimously at their last meeting to form a Racial Equity Subcommittee for this important project. This subcommittee will focus explicitly on race but not necessarily exclusively, as all inequities need to remain in the forefront throughout this project.
