First online survey closes November 5 Join us at Design Week Nov. 13-16!
Posted on 6 November, 2018Last spring the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) launched the Southwest Service Area Master Plan (SW Parks Plan). This project will set a cohesive vision and priorities for future improvements at 43 neighborhood parks and park properties in Southwest Minneapolis over the next 20-30 years.
During the summer, project staff attended more than 100 events in Southwest Minneapolis to raise awareness and get feedback on the project and 400 comments were submitted through the first SW Parks Plan online survey, which closes at noon on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Click the link below to submit a comment before the survey ends.
Don’t worry, this is not the last chance to provide input on park designs.
Join us at Design Week Nov. 13-16!
Join neighbors and friends, Park Board staff and professional designers during Design Week Nov. 13-16! Everyone who lives, works or plays in Southwest Minneapolis is invited to two more opportunities to help set the vision for neighborhood parks in the area.
During the week, project designers will set up a working design studio at MPRB Headquarters and use all online and in-person feedback collected so far — along with input from people who come to the Design Week events — to create the first drafts of park master plans for all neighborhood park properties in Southwest Minneapolis.
