The bicycle/pedestrian trail over the Lake Street Bridge near Lake Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska will be closed beginning tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at 10 pm. It will reopen tomorrow morning, Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at 6 am.
The closure is necessary to finish up work on expanded bike/pedestrian trails over the Lake Street Bridge as part of the Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska-Harriet Trail and Access Improvement project. Click the link below for more information on this project.
Work near the Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska Boat Launch is on schedule. The boat launch is expected to reopen Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.
