CAC Meeting #2
This meeting was held on March 31, 2016.

The meeting kicked off with a review of project goals, outcomes and CAC members’ roles and responsibilities.  After a motion by a CAC member and support from public comments, the CAC voted unanimously to form a Racial Equity Subcommittee.  This subcommittee will focus explicitly on race but not necessarily exclusively, as the group needs to be conscious of all inequities while moving through the project.  These meetings will be open to anyone interested in participating – both from the CAC as well as the public.  The group then had an in depth discussion and small group exercise on the community engagement process for the remaining phases of the project.
