The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is holding three public hearings for concept approvals of playground and site improvements concepts for Cleveland, Farview and Lovell Square Parks.

The concept plans for Lovell Square, Farview and Cleveland Park playground Improvements, and Perkins Hill Park Improvements are now available to view and provide feedback on.

Newly adopted master plan guides long-term development of North Minneapolis neighborhood parks

North Service Area Master Plan features improvements, operations and management for 31 neighborhood parks, 3 regional trails Northside communities participated in 18-month planning process Several projects already underway!

Farview Park History

This project will begin a first phase of implementation of priority projects identified during the North Service Area Master Planning Process (NSAMP). This first phase of park improvements will be implemented in 2019. Visit the North Service Area Master Plan project page for more information about the planning for Farview Park.

The total budget for Farview Park Improvements is $456,422. This funding will go towards staff and consultant time, design and construction.  Funding is allocated from the following sources:

NPP20: $150,000
