Annie Young Meadow in Riverside Park will be dedicated during an event March 17

Please join the family of Annie Young and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board to celebrate the life of longtime Commissioner Annie Young during an event to dedicate Annie Young Meadow in Riverside Park on Saturday, March 17, 2018, beginning at 10 am.

In February, the MPRB voted to rename a portion of Riverside Park, formerly called Lower Riverside Park, to Annie Young Meadow in honor of Young, a seven-term commissioner who passed away in January.

All Minneapolis park users and members of the public are invited to attend.
