DESCRIPTION:Happy Thanks – Swimming 5k! Welcome to the annual indoor swimming event at the Phillips Aquatics Center. Hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB)\, this event will crush Thanksgiving morning with a 5k in the water. Participants will choose a lane that fits their timing needs and swim 50x 50s. Participants must be able to swim 50 yards without stopping. Stay fit this Fall and work toward a fun event to kick off a healthy holiday season. \nGet fit before your pants don’t fit. Why run a Thanksgiving 5k when you can swim it?! Take Thanksgiving by the drum stick and do a 5k in the water!
