DESCRIPTION:Black History 365 is a production where youth from all around the Twin-Cities showcase their talent with a focus on the greatness of Black History. DESCRIPTION:The first Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting for the Hiawatha Golf Course Property Master Plan is scheduled Wednesday\, March 28\, 2018\, 6:30-8 pm at the Lake Nokomis Community Center\, 2401 East Minnehaha Parkway.  \nAt the meeting\, CAC members will meet each other and staff working on the project\, learn about the golf course property site and its history\, and discuss the project\, the CAC’s role and how the CAC will shape project outcomes. \nThe master plan design will not be discussed at the meeting. The project is still in the informative stage and it’s important for everyone to start with a shared understanding of the facts\, history and circumstances surrounding it. We will review the Nokomis-Hiawatha Regional Park Master Plan [PDF]\, passed in 2015\, and July 2017 resolution directing staff to apply for a groundwater appropriations permit and organize a process for amending the Nokomis-Hiawatha Regional Park Master Plan. \nAnyone interested in the project is encouraged to attend. DESCRIPTION:Come on down to Creekview for our fun egg hunt. Bring your flashlight and we’ll start the egg hunt once it is dark. You must be in the center at the start of the event so we can hide the eggs outside. We will divide the eggs up for the different age groups.
