SUMMARY:Lake Monster 1-2-3 Swim
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the first Lake Monster 1-2-3 swim at Lake Nokomis. Hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) and the Open Swim Club\, this event will offer three distances; 1\, 2\, and 3 mile courses. The loop course will start and end at Nokomis Main Beach and each loop is one mile. This mid- summer swim will be great practice for training triathletes or a peak race for endurance swimmers. In collaboration with the MPRB Open Swim Club\, participants of the club will receive a registration discount fee for the event. \n$15 registration discount for Open Swim Club members. \nRegistration fees \nJanuary 01- June 09: $55 ($15 discount for club members)June 10- July 29: $65 ($15 discount for club members) \nThe lore of the Nokomis Lake Monster lives on\, come swim a distance of your comfort level and make a mid- summer goal. \nNotes: \nEvent will occur rain or shine; dangerous weather conditions may delay or cancel the event.
