Safety Camp registration fees are listed below and include transportation, snacks, t-shirt, bike helmet, and tons of fun!

About

Minneapolis Safety Camp is a three-day program for youth going into 2nd grade through 5th grade. Minneapolis Police Officers, Firefighters, and recreation staff serve as counselors, teaching campers personal and social safety skills in a fun and exciting environment.

Transportation

The bus schedule and pick up sites are subject to change based upon enrollment numbers.

Bus pick up times will begin at approximately 7:30 am and will leave Theodore Wirth at 4:30 pm, and complete all drop offs by 5:35 pm. Parent/guardian should park in the parking lot across from the pavilion and check-in at the registration table.

A camp newsletter will be sent out one week prior to camp. If you do not receive a newsletter, please call 612-230-6415.

Program Information

Safety Camp teaches participants safety education through games, demonstrations and hands-on activities in a fun camp setting. Camp is action packed, and safety topics include water, bike, animal, bus, fire safety and more. Police, firefighters, and recreation staff serve as camp counselors. Parents/guardians are invited to join their camper for lunch on July 26, noon-1 pm. Camp includes: drinks, snacks, t-shirt and awards ceremony.
