| Hidden behind Cedar Ave. just one block from the South Cedar Business District is the Brian Coyle Community Center, a year-round facility that serves the residents of Cedar-Riverside. Located next door to Currie Park, it's the center of an ever-growing, ever-changing and highly diverse neighborhood.
The community center is a neighborhood center of the Pillsbury United Communities in Minneapolis.
Residents can take advantage of a variety of helpful resources and social services, in addition to self-sufficiency, youth and volunteer programs.
The community center employs a full-time staff of about 40 people, plus volunteers that deal one-on-one with over 1,000 residents a month.
