This neighborhood recreation center in Elliot Park is quite unique given its location deep in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. Resting on 6.5 acres of parkland, the year round facility caters to the needs of an urban blend of college students, adults and teens.
The friendly staff is there to help find what you’re looking for. There are plenty of outdoor programs to satisfy your recreation needs, including flag football, softball, tennis, soccer and basketball.
The rec center offers a computer lab free for public use.
Area teens love to get together here to enjoy activities such as volleyball, basketball and PlayStation®.
Elliot Recreation Center was built in 1980 with special regard to the needs of the handicapped. The center is over 7,000 sq. ft.
