The recreation center at Powderhorn Park offers a full menu of program services designed to meet the recreational needs of all age groups. These programs include supervised athletics, cultural and fine arts, social interaction groups, music and dance, environmental programs and community celebrations.

Powderhorn Community Center has a number of rooms residents regularly use for community meetings, including a lounge, arts and crafts room, kitchen, office, gym and several activity rooms. A portable warming house serves those skating on the lake and general ice rink.

Recreation Fee Assistance: Minneapolis residents who cannot afford instructional fees because of economic need may apply for fee assistance.
