Lyndale Farmstead is a smaller recreation center known for its soccer program and special events. The building is a neighborhood gathering place and the site of many community meetings. It is also popular for birthday party rentals.
The friendly park staff will lend out checkers or chess sets to be used at the outdoor chess tables, or tennis rackets for the tennis courts during the summer. Loaner skates are available for use on the skating rink during the winter months.
There is a newer playground that appeals to all ages, and in cold weather, the playground crowd meets indoors for Open Playroom. Join us on Friday and Saturday evenings during the skating season for Family Skating Nights.
