The rec center at Bryant Square Park is located at the corner of 31st St. and Bryant Ave. S, just one block south of W. Lake St. The entrance is nestled under a huge tree that helps keep the center cool in the summer.
Some days you can walk into the center and hear the sound of small hands on drums or the laughter and joy from the craft room. Take part in the variety of programs offered here year round for all ages.
The 6,300 sq. ft. center includes classrooms for community use that are designed with different groups in mind, from preschoolers to adults. There is also a computer lab free for public use.
Think about having your next gathering in one of the classrooms or other meeting spaces. With a kitchen available for use and a craft room for hands-on activities, there's space for just about any use.
Historical Profile: More information about this and other parks is included in Parks, Lakes, Trails and So Much More, a richly detailed account of the histories of Minneapolis’ renown recreational system.
