Enhancements coming to Kenwood park totlot, trail

The community center at Kenwood Park is connected to Kenwood School located north of Lake of the Isles on W. Franklin Ave. Its design and exterior blend in with the natural scenery so well that you might miss it if driving by! Inside, the atmosphere is friendly with a full-time staff on hand.

Talk about being busy! Kenwood always has kids running around its facility. Being connected to the school makes it easy for kids and parents alike to get involved. Space in Kenwood School is used as the day recreation center.

Kenwood Community Center is open year-round filling each season with exciting indoor and outdoor activities. These activities are incredibly popular and fill up fast. Get your family registered and join n the fun!

Fall Special Events at Kenwood Community Center

Su 9/26/2010-9/26/2010 12:30 PM-3:30 PM		Palio Parade & Fall Festival
		Join us for the 29th Annual Palio Parade & Fall Festival on Sunday, September 26th. Initially inspired by the Grand Festival in Siena, Italy, Minneapolis's imported version of the Palio Parade invites the five neighborhoods surrounding the Kenwood Park District (East Isles, Lowry Hill, CIDNA, Kenwood, and Lowry Hill East) to band together by color and mascot to compete for the Best Neighborhood Parade each year. After the Prize Banner is awarded to the winner, neighbors join together as one community to socialize, mingle, and share in the fun of music, food, dance, and games. Don't forget to check out the all-ages Parade Workshops happening at the Kenwood Park Recreation Center.
