Armatage Recreation Center is located in Armatage Park adjacent to the school in Southwest Minneapolis. Open year round the center offers a variety of activities for all ages.
An active senior group welcomes anyone from the neighborhood for crafts, cards, coffee or just good conversation.
But activities aren’t just for seniors. We have crafts and cards for children and youth. Join us for gymnastics, fundamental sports such as soccer, basketball and baseball or Kelly’s Kool Creations crafting class.

The building has a full kitchen with a buffet window to the multi-purpose room in addition to three meeting rooms. The multi-purpose room features a great view of the playground. All are available for rent for community use. Think about having your next party here and you won’t have to clean the house or worry about things getting broken. Of course, you still have to clean up after yourself!
A gym and shelter completes the 7,000 sq. ft. recreation center complex that was renovated in 1998-99.
