Grounds & Facilities Maintenance

Keeping all grounds and facilities in the parks system in good repair and in a safe condition is the responsibility of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) Operations Maintenance Section. Our crews are responsible for maintenance of general turf areas, athletic fields, buildings, wading and swimming pools, lake beaches, recreation courts, pathways, skating, broomball and hockey rinks, cross county ski areas, and snow removal.
