Youth Sports Team Sponsorship Program
The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board is dedicated to providing quality recreation services and programs to the children of Minneapolis.
Youth Sports programs are offered year-round, providing safe, supervised opportunities for children to participate in recreational league play. In 2009, over 8,000 children participated in Minneapolis Park Board leagues.
We are asking for your support, as we strive to meet the Youth Sports needs of today's children, in extremely challenging financial times.
Our goal is to provide each and every boy and girl on each youth sports team the advantage of having a high quality team uniform to wear when playing on a Minneapolis Park sports team.
Each time a child joins a team, puts on a uniform and plays in a game, they experience a sense of accomplishment and pride. Plus, they learn the valuable lesson of teamwork, sportsmanship and the importance of keeping active.
By participating in the Team Sponsorship Program you:
- Help provide an opportunity for more children to participate in Youth Sports.
- Help keep the cost of Youth Sports programs low.
- Help keep children happy, healthy and active.
- Help keep children engaged in a safe, supervised activity.
- Have the opportunity for your business name and/or logo imprint on team uniforms.
How your support will help
Team Sponsorship Program will provide uniforms for an entire team. Sponsorship costs for each youth sport offered by MPRB are:

Football: $625 |
| Gymnastics: $400 |
Hockey: $300 |
| Soccer: $360 |
Tennis: $250 |
| Track: $500 |
Volleyball: $400 |
| Wrestling: $525 |

Contributions can be dedicated to a specific sport or park, or MPRB staff will match contributions to a team and location with the most need.
