Whether you want to learn basic skills, lob a few over the net with a friend, or enjoy friendly competition, the tennis program offered by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board serves up plenty of fun and exercise.

Tennis Lessons


Take summer lessons to brush up on old skills or get acquainted with the game. Lessons are offered at various parks and are held on weeknights. Our experienced instructors offer lessons for the beginner through intermediate level. Participants can progress through lessons during the summer. Click for more information.

Tennis Partner Pool


Looking for a tennis partner? The tennis partner pool gives Minneapolis residents a resource to find people who enjoy the sport. Click for more information.

Summer Break


This program offers a fun and competitive atmosphere for former tennis players. Summer Break offers low-cost, low-commitment tennis instruction and match play opportunity for adults. Click for more information.

Drill n Play


Players spend 30-45 minutes working on tennis skills, then break into match play. This fun and exciting program mixes a lesson-type atmosphere with a match play format. Click for more information.
