Music in the Parks
May 27-September 2
There's nothing like settling into a lawn chair or spreading a blanket on the hill to listen to music in the great outdoors. Every year the Minneapolis Music in the Parks concert series offers over 200 free performances featuring hundreds of talented local and regional artists.
The award-winning picturesque Band Shell at Lake Harriet is the signature venue for daily concerts. Yet park-goers can also catch free live music at least twice a week at Bryant Square Park, Father Hennepin Bluffs, Minnehaha Falls Park, and Nicollet Island Amphitheater. Each venue is unique with its own natural wonders.
The concerts feature something for every musical taste, including Jazz, Latin, Big Band, Folk, Rock, Bluegrass, World, ballet and much more.
