Visit Theodore Wirth Park and you’ll quickly forget you’re in the city. This urban forest is a winter sports-lover’s paradise. The Wirth Winter Recreation Area has 25 kilometers of trails. Depending upon conditions, trails are groomed for both classical style and skate skiing. There are a range of trails, from beginner to advanced. The Back-9 section includes a 2+ kilometer lighted loop with snowmaking capabilities.
