Coaching

A major effort by the Youth Sports Program is underway to recruit, train and help our volunteer coaches as they assume the vital role of guiding and assisting our city's youth through the sports and competitive phase of their lives.

Certification and training is provided. No experience is necessary, just the desire to help kids grow.
Coaches can volunteer by contacting their local recreation center director or the MPRB youth sports department at youthsports@minneapolisparks.org or 612-230-6482.
All coaches are required to fill out an application and will have a background check.
