The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board serves up tennis programs in all skill levels for youth ages 6-17. Learn the basics of tennis and sportsmanship, polish skills and take part in team play.

Minneapolis Inner-city Tennis Program

Youth Team Tennis


Team match format allows for various levels of play, ranging from first time players to those who have had previous experience playing tennis. This is a great way to meet friends, enjoy summer evenings and learn a lifetime sport. For boys and girls ages 9-14. Click for more information.

Youth Tennis Coaches Wanted


The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is looking for volunteers to coach boys and girls tennis. If you enjoy working with youth and enjoy the game of tennis we have a place for you. The youth tennis season starts in early June with the season ending in late July. If you’re interested in coaching youth tennis please call Jack Bartsh at 612-230-6492, jbartsh@minneapolisparks.org.

Other tennis programs may be available through the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board at other parks or recreation centers.
