Youth Fastpitch Softball is a league organized by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board community services. The league is for girls from 4th to 12th grade. Leagues are offered in spring and summer, starting in late April as well as mid June. Softball is a great way to get in shape while making new friends or spending time with some old ones.

Softball Clinics
- Winter Indoor Fastpitch Clinic -Thinking about playing softball this spring or summer? Join us this winter for a softball clinic. Instructors will focus on hitting, pitching and fielding. Let It Snow! - MPRB Softball Clinics Are Indoors! Softball clinics start in February.
- Minnesota Twins RBI Academy - The RBI Academy is one of the many programs sponsored by the MN Twins. This is a great opportunity for youth baseball and softball players ages 12-15 to get personal instruction from expert clinicians during the summer. The clinics are three hours in length separated by age and sport (baseball or fastpitch softball). Last but not least, these clinics are FREE, registration is required and space is limited.
Softball Leagues
-
Softball Leagues are avilable for girls ages 8-15 during the spring and 16-18 during the summer. In all the leagues the players will focus on learning new skills, improve last year's skills, reach personal and team goals and have fun in the process. Sofball leagues start in late April.
- Since 1993, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has been partnering with the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Twins Community Fund to bring youth baseball and softball to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity or the funds to enjoy America’s past-time. Each season, the Minnesota Twins RBI and Rookie League program involves more than 2,500 boys and girls between the ages of 8-18.
