- Minnesota Twins Rookie League Clinics - What better way to improve your skills than to learn from the best! The Minnesota Twins Rookie League and RBI program conducts baseball clinics for youth ages 8-18. Former players and coaches from the Major Leagues, college and high school conduct clinics aimed at teaching the fundamentals of baseball. Clinics are free, require no pre-registration and are open to all MPRB youth baseball teams. Clinics are offered throughout the regular baseball season from May to July.
- Minnesota Twins RBI Academy - The RBI Academy is one of the many programs sponsored by the MN Twins. This is a great opportunity for youth baseball and softball players to get personal instruction from expert clinicians.
- The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board offers baseball leagues for youth ages 8-18 beginning in mid May and concluding in mid to late July. Leagues focus on learning the fundamentals of baseball and having fun in the process.
MPRB’s partnership with the Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund
Since 1993, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has been partnering with the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Twins Community Fund to bring youth baseball and softball to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity or the funds to enjoy America’s past-time. The support from the Twins Community Fund provides uniforms and equipment to participants as well as funding for baseball and softball field renovations. Each season, the Minnesota Twins RBI and Rookie League programs involve more than 2,500 boys and girls between the ages of 8-18.
Ready to register? Contact your local Recreation Center directly for youth sport league registration information and details. Only Minneapolis teams are eligible for Youth Sports programs and 80% of team members must live within Minneapolis city limits.
