Rabid bat found at Lake of the Isles
 
The Minnesota Department of Health has notified the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board that a bat found on the walking path along the east side of Lake of the Isles, between 26th and 27th Streets, has tested positive for rabies. The bat was found at noon, Sunday, March 25. Anyone who touched the bat should see his or her doctor right away. Parents who think their child may have had physical contact with a bat should contact the Minnesota Department of Health at 651-201-5414.
