The public drawing for Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) sailboat buoys on Lakes Calhoun, Harriet and Nokomis will be held Tuesday, April 13, at Lynnhurst Community Recreation Center, 1345 West Minnehaha Parkway. Applicants must attend the public drawing or send a representative. Drawings times for the 345 buoys are:
• Lake Harriet - 6:30 p.m.
• Lake Calhoun - 7:30 p.m.
• Lake Nokomis - 8 p.m.
Seasonal fees are $400 for Minneapolis residents and $500 for non-Minneapolis residents.
To be included in the April 13 drawing, all permit applications must be received by midnight on April 9, 2010. Applications received after the deadline will be considered for assignment after drawing assignments have been made. Send applications to:
