The off-leash area is located in the north corner of Loring Park between the Minneapolis Community Technical College and the Loring Park businesses. The nearest street access is from the intersection of Maple St. and Harmon Place. The park is .23 of an acre.

The non-profit corporation Dog Grounds, Inc. maintains the dog park; the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board operates the facility.

In order to use the Off-Leash Recreation Areas, pet owners must first obtain a permit. For more information on the park, visit www.doggrounds.org/loring-park.
