Beaches are open daily 6 a.m.-10 p.m., with lifeguards scheduled June 8-August 25, 2013

New in 2011, a floating swimming dock adds fun to Lake Calhoun's Thomas Beach! Located within the buoyed swimming area, the 10 x 13 foot floating docks offer the thrill of jumping into the lake that can’t be achieved from the shore. Read the news release here.

Please help keep our beaches clean by observing the following rules:
• Make sure infants are wearing swim diapers.
• Dogs are not allowed on beaches or in the water.
• Don’t feed ducks and other waterfowl, as they contribute bacteria and phosphorus to lakes.
