The Minnehaha Falls Pergola Garden is located on Minnehaha Ave. across from the Princess Depot. Installed in 1995, the perennial garden features native wildflowers and grasses that border the overlook at the Falls. As a result, it's a picturesque site for weddings.
Peaking Display Time: View the blooms, and the butterflies they attract, from June-September.
Handicap Access: The garden is handicapped accessible.
Hours: The garden and the Falls overlook are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Directions: Take Hiawatha Ave. to Minnehaha Parkway. Drive east one block on Minnehaha Parkway to the intersection of Godfrey Parkway and Minnehaha Ave. Turn south on Minnehaha Ave. and drive one block to the garden.
Parking: A limited amount of metered parking is available in our regional parking lots. All non-metered parking stalls within the regional lots require a Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Patron Parking Pass. Parking on the streets is free.
