Located on the northeast shore of Lake Harriet, immediately adjacent to Roseway Road, Lyndale Park Gardens encompasses four distinctive gardens:

• Rose Garden
• Annual/Perennial Garden
• Peace (Rock) Garden
• Perennial Trial Garden & Hummingbird/Butterfly Garden

Adjacent to the Peace Garden is the Thomas Sadler Roberts Bird Sanctuary.

Visit them on your own or with a guided tour to learn more about the history of these special park treasures.

Handicap Access: The Lyndale Park Gardens and the Roberts Bird Sanctuary are handicapped accessible. Satellite restrooms are located adjacent to the parking lot.

Tours: Volunteer tour guides are available. E-mail gardens@minneapolisparks.org to request information on tour guide availability. Please e-mail three weeks in advance of your desired tour date.

Weddings: For information on outdoor weddings and permits call 612-230-6400.

Directions: The Lyndale Park Gardens are located along Roseway Road between East Lake Harriet Parkway and King's Highway (Dupont Ave. S). Roseway Road is also West 41st St. in this area.

Parking: Automated parking pay stations, patron parking pass and some meters. Click for detailed parking information.

Traveling By Bus? MTC Bus Route 4 (any route letter except 'X') stops at the intersection of West 40th St. and Bryant Ave. S. The gardens are just a two-block walk west of the bus stop.
