
Morris Park and Recreation Center are located at the corner of 55th St. and 39th Ave. in the Longfellow neighborhood in southeast Minneapolis. With a strong sense of community pride and friendly neighbors, the neighborhood features neatly manicured lawns and beautiful elaborate gardens.
Stretching the length of only one city block, the 3.9-acre park serves its community well and is near Morris Park Elementary School.
The park features a two colorful play lots for 2-5-year-olds and 5-12-year-olds, a skateboard park, fields for soccer, baseball or softball, a wading pool and great spots to spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic.
