 Keewaydin Park and Recreation Center are located at the intersection of 53rd St. E and 30th Ave. S adjacent to Keewaydin Public School. The park is scattered with many pine trees, ballfields, playground equipment and smiling faces.
In the warm winds of summer the park offers baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer and brightly-colored playground equipment. If you aren’t looking to play, the park offers a wading pool, benches and picnic tables for a relaxing meal away from home.
The park’s name was taken from Longfellow’s poem, Song of Hiawatha. Keewaydin is a Native American word that means ''northwest wind'' or ''‘home wind.''

2 courts. If you need some practice or just want to take out some frustrations, workout on the practice wall. |

Tons of slides, swings and towers, all in a rainbow of colors. What more could a kid ask for? |

A round wading pool is in the center of the park. It's great place to cool off and escape the noise of the city. |
