ABOUT COMMISSIONER WIELINSKI
GOALS
I am honored to have this opportunity to further the tradition of exceptional parks in the City of Minneapolis. Keeping our neighborhood parks and urban forest maintained, providing fun and diverse recreational and athletic opportunities, and truly engaging the community in planning for future parks are my priorities.
I look forward to working not only with my fellow Commissioners and staff, but also our friends at the City, County, State and others to collaborate and provide the best value for our tax dollars. Going forward I hope you will consider our parks not only a place for relaxation and recreation, but as a place to volunteer. Together we can keep our green spaces, playing fields and waters preserved for generations to come.
