Picture a Park Photo Contest

The Picture a Park Photo Contest returns for its 4th year! Photos from any time of year may be submitted between May 6 and September 2, 2013 at www.natcam.com. Photographs will be judged on impact, image quality, composition and storytelling.

The Picture a Park Photo Contest is designed to highlight the year-round beauty, events and fun throughout Minneapolis' parks. Winners can receive a National Camera gift card, photo enlargement, parking permit, park pass or 2014 calendar featuring winning photos. See details.

Free Photo Classes in 2013
Learn how to take better photographs using your SLR, point and shoot or cell phone camera! Four free classes are being offered this summer. Space is limited and registration is required, so register today!

• Sat., June 1, 10 am-noon at Nokomis Recreation Center
• Sat., June 22, 10 am-noon at Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Recreation Center
• Sat., July 20, 8-10 am at Minnehaha Falls
• Sat., Aug. 3, 8-10 am at Rose Garden
