Minneapolis Earth Day Clean Up

Proceeds from the Minneapolis Recycle Run help support the annual Minneapolis Earth Day Clean Up, which draws attention to our lakes and river and the effects individual actions have on urban water quality.

The Earth Day Clean Up is the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s largest annual volunteer event and one of the largest community service events in Minneapolis. In 2012, more than 1,500 volunteers removed over 9,000 pounds of trash from our neighborhoods, parks and watersheds.

For more information about this year’s Clean Up, visit www.minneapolisearthday.com.
