Over 500 brave cold and rain to support the environment
More than 500 adults and children participated in the 2009 Minneapolis Recycle Run 5K Fun Run and Kid’s Run and on Sunday, April 19, at Lake Harriet. Presented by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and City of Minneapolis, proceeds from the event benefit future Earth Day efforts.
More than 150 pairs of old running shoes and shirts were collected at the 2009 Recycle Run. All donated items were recycled!
