Good to Know
Youth Swimming Lessons offered at Lake Nokomis Main Beach, Wirth Beach, Jim Lupient Water Park, North Commons Water Park, and Webber Natural Swimming Pool. Parents/guardians will be notified of swim lesson cancellations through email.

Maintenance is increasing at all neighborhood parks, thanks to additional annual funding from the 20-Year Neighborhood Park Plan (NPP20). This initiative also funds ongoing rehabilitation and major project to restore neighborhood parks and help address racial and economic equity.
Park Rules & Tips
Water Park Rules
- Everyone, including spectators, must pay an admission fee.
- No outside food allowed in the park. You may picnic outside of the water park and reenter. All guests need a hand stamp to reenter.
- You must wear appropriate swim attire in the water; see dress code information below.
- United States Coast Guard approved life jackets are the only flotation devices allowed in the water park. The water park does provide life jackets.
- No life jackets allowed on any water slide.
- No water toys, sand toys, noodles, water wings or balls allowed in the water park.
- Only guests 42 inches and taller may ride the water slides.
- Only one rider may go down the slide at a time. Adults may not ride with children.
- Guests who are not toilet trained must wear an appropriate swim diaper or plastic pants (with no disposable/cloth diapers underneath).
- Youth ages 9-12 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older in the facility.
- Children younger than 8 years old must be supervised by an adult age 18 or older in the water.
- We require a 1 adult to 4 children ratio for groups with children ages 12 and younger
- Water park staff will not hold personal belongings for guests. You may rent lockers to secure valuables.
- No tobacco allowed in Jim Lupient Water Park.

Rentals & Permits
Group Use Permit: Please submit a group reservation form to aquatics@minneapolisparks.org or directly to Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board Headquarters. (2117 West River Road North, Minneapolis, MN 55411. All reservation requests are subject to approval.
Group Scholarships are available for Nonprofit Minneapolis based Youth Serving organizations.
Lap Swim
Lap swim is available during the regular season at this facility.
Monday – Friday, starting June 27 through August 19 from 11:30am- 1pm.
